 Article: THE CLEAN HOUSE PLAYS THE CREMORNE THEATRE (BROADWAY.COM AUSTRALIA)
What happens when a doctor falls in love with their patient? When a wife befriends her husband's new love? Or when a cleaner is allergic to housecleaning? Find the answers in Sarah Ruhl's multi-award winning comedy The Clean House, starring TV's Brooke Satchwell from 28 June in Brisbane.

Lane and Charles are both doctors, and charismatic Matilde is their Brazilian cleaner, who is trying to create the perfect joke and avoid cleaning. When Charles moves in with his older patient, Ana, it is Matilde who finds comedy and common ground between the two households.

Says Director Kate Cherry, "The Clean House is a wonderfully visual piece of theatre full of profound and magical moments, quirky humour and unexpected plot twists. I think
Isabel Allende fans will enjoy the magic realism in the show, and audiences everywhere can identify with the heart-warming story of love, loss and the life-affirming power of laughter."The Clean House is a co-production by Black Swan State Theatre Company and Queensland Theatre Company.

That isn't only true for long haul flights, airlines do the same for shorter flights too, though for different reasons.

My return flight from Perth isn't direct, there just aren't enough people travelling Perth=>Canberra each day for several direct flights. So I have to come back via Sydney, adding 2 hour layover and an extra 200 miles (approx) to the trip.

also just be clear, Canberra to London is about 10,560 miles but this is in a straight line, airlines dont fly in a straight line plus no airline can do a direct route and therefore must stop (usually in asia) which add more mileage to the journey

Because I know you can access Google Maps & Google Earth as easy as I can.

Just to save Dyni from making an effort:
Canberra => Perth 2,000 miles
Canberra => Brisbane 600 miles
Canberra => Sydney 150 miles

Oh and
Canberra => London 10,000 miles

why do you insist on talking as if I know where places in Australia are? :)

Now they tell me, after I've already booked tickets and flights to see her in Perth! Next thing you know they'll announce a Sydney show, or even that they are coming here to Canberra.

Not that I mind, if I had to fly to London to see her on stage I would.

If it does come to Sydney/Canberra I'll probably see it again.
