Synopsis: When Southern developers move in on Hervey Bay, hot young exec Tiffany Lambert (Brooke?), forces local builders to lift their game. A botched rezoning application throws the whole community into turmoil and the troubled relationship between sub-contractors "Digger" Kelly and his larrikin son Jack, comes to a head. Tiffany wonders if Jack will ever grow up, but what follows is Jacks finest hour. Developers... builders bums... sub-contractors.... rezoning!!! Community in turmoil and troubled relationship leading to finest hour... hmmmm! | |||||

diwana is focused on TV and Subdivision hasnt ever been on TV. Though, hopefully it will be on TV sometime soon. Not that there are any credible rumours, yet. MartinS x No matter how smart a person is sooner or latter they are going to do something really stupid. Clever people worry about this, knowing that people will notice and laugh. I don't have to worry, because everyone stopped noticing years ago:) | |||||

In another major coup Subdivision is to be given the singular honour of closing this years Dungog Film Festival (DFF). For those unaware the DFF is The Largest Festival of Australian Films in the World! (possibly because its the only one.) Which is held annually in the thriving cultural centre of Dungog (population 8500 spread over 2248 sq/km or <1.5 people per sq/mile), which is situated 228 km North of Sydney (The Middle of Nowhere). Each year the festival draws in hundreds of tourist to the area, sometimes even thousands, which means people are still outnumbered by sheep and cows over 30-40 to 1. All joking aside it is a very well respected festival within the industry and closing the show is worthy of note. The previously mooted return of Subdivision is now confirmed, starting with Perth Subdivision to return to screens in August, no indication where else it will be released yet, but negotiations for a European release are still progressing. Unfortunately Subdivision is not available here in The Netherlands... Anyone have suggestions on how I can (legally) view the film without going abroad? Some people say that if you play a Windows install CD backwards you will hear demon voices commanding you to worship Satan. But that's nothing. If you play it forward it will install Windows! :wq! | |||||
